Now the Government has implemented the system that, Passengers can book railway tickets before the half hour of the Journey. In order to this railway will publish the list two times. Through this , you can avoid big queues and save time also.
How to Book Railway ticket online
- Please log on the official website - http://irctc.co.in
- If you registered before you can log in by using your previous username and password.
- You can see the plan my travel
- Select the station you want to travel (From and To) , Enter the date and select the ticket type.
- Select the Quota and find the train.
- After that you can see the list of trains are passing through the stations and select the class of the train that you wish to travel.
- After that you can see the fate of the ticket and availability.
- Click the button book.
- After that , you want to enter the passenger detail like passenger name, sex and date of birth etc. Note: Children below age 5 no need to take the ticket.
- After that give your mobile number and one confirmation message will come to your mobile number.
- After checking the detail you can make a payment or you can change the date.
- You can make your payment by online , credit cards, EMI option and Debit card etc.
- After the payment you can see your ticket detail and take a print out. you can use this ticket for your travel and you want to carry a proof with the ticket.
