Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited the application for the post of Geologist ,Chemist, GeoPhysicist and Junior Hydrogeologist through combined Geo Scientist and Geologist Exam 2015. www.upsconline.nic.in is the official website to apply the vacancy. Last date for the application is 20th March 2015.

Section I
Total Number of Vacancy :240 This is divided into 3 Divisions
- 150 Posts Geologist
- 40 posts Geophysicist
- 50 Post Chemist
Section II:
Total 29 Post available under the central ground water board, Ministry f Water Resource
- 29 Post for Junior Hydro-geologist (Scientist B)
Eligiblity
- Candidate should be Indian
- Those who have master degree in Geological Science or Geology or Applied Geology can apply foe Geologist
- Graduate in M.s.c in Physics or Applied Physics can apply for Geophysicist
- Graduate M.s.c in Chemistry or Applied Chemistry can apply for Chemist
- Those who have master degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology can apply for Junior Hydro geologist.
Age Limit
- Section I : 21 years to 32 years
- Section II : 21 Years to 35 years
Selection Process:
Candidate will be selected based on the written examination, Personality Test and Interview.

- All the application should be online through UPSC official website (http://www.upsconline.nic.in)
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 200/- Fee can paid by in any branch of SBI by cash or online through the payment gateway, using a Master/ Visa Debit or Credit card.
- No need to pay for SC/ST/PH women candidates of any community.
