Zones -1 (North) will include Jammu and Kasmir, Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh.
Zone -2 (West): Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Daman & Diu, Dadar & Nagar Haveli
Zone -3 (North East): Assam, Sikkim, Mizoram, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura
Zone – 4 (East): Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal
Zone -5 (South): Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Pudducherry, Lakshdweep, Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Who can Apply
- The specific zone where a student can apply for scholarship shall be decided on the basis of the location of University/College/Institute in which the student was studying for the qualifying examination, irrespective of the domicile of the student.
- Those Indian National Students studying in India can apply.
- The application is applicable only for regular class courses
- Applicant should be a student of first year of the 4 year Graduate Engineering Student or of the 1st year of the 2 year Master’s degree course in Geology/Geophysics or 2 year MBA
- The applicant want to score 60% mark in the qualifying examination.
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 30 years as on 1st October,2015.
- The Scholarship will be paid on the yearly basis.
- Applicant will be selected based on their performance in Class X11 in case of admission to Engineering and MBBS courses and Graduation in case of post-graduation courses in Geology, Geophysics and MBA.
- The filled Complete application with all the supporting documents as mentioned in the application form duly certified and forwarded by their Head/Principal/ Dean of the Institute/ College/University, should reach the designated office of ONGC as per the details give in the application format.
- The last date of receipt of the applications is 15.Nov.2015.
