www.dct.kerala.gov.in is the official website for downloading text book (pada pusthakam) for 1 to 10th class students in Kerala.Through this Kerala Government achieved another milestone.This system is very useful for student and teachers for down loading Pada pusthakam. This system can be introduced in the class room with help of a Projector and students can see their chapter in a big screen. Through the digital text book service, the text booj will comprise information contributed by persons around the globe in audio or video formats, besides the scanned soft copy normal text books. With the support of a smart phone, tablets student and teacher can enter the class room and see their test book chapter. Same time they can download their chapter. The state general education department is planning to launch this IT @ school system early next month. Through this 3.7 million students and about more than 2 lakh teachers can use this facility.

Since the Kerala Government delay for the distribution of text books, some of the schools started this system for teaching the students. Through this system students teachers can enter the site and they can download or see their chapters. Some schools are started to use this system
How to Download the text book
- Log in the DCT Kerla website www.dct.kerala.gov.in
- In the home page you can see Public View click
- Login as guest linked in the next page
- Once you logged in you can see the class, Subject, chapter section
- Select the Class (1 to 10) subject and the name of the chapter
- you can click the open to start with.
- After a few second digital text will suddenly appear in the window.
- you can read and download.
