The sample vedikettu (Fire works) will be held on the 4th day after the flag hoisting of the thrissur pooram. It is very color full and and it will take one hour and it will held in swaraj round.

Main Pooram
The pooram starts form the early morning by Kanimangalam Sasthavu Ezhunnellippu and after the other temples also follow, The most event in thrissur pooram is Madathil varavu. madathil varavu is a melam more than 200 artists participating.After 2.pm on wards the vadakunnathan temple starts it ilanjithara melam. More than 50 elephants are participating in Thrissur pooram. The elephants are decorated very beautifully with anachamayam like nettipadam, ornaments etc...The two different groups entered to temple through western gate and southern gate and they reach face to face directin with distant gap. Then they start the kudamattam Finally the fire works will occur.
