www.lsgelection.kerala.gov.in is the official website to register names for foreign residents. Kerala Election commission has already issued order for registering names. Through this the foreign residents can poll their vote in panchayat Election. please see detail below.
Steps to Register Name
- Mode of application Online - www.lsgelection.kerala.gov.in
- Fill all the requirement in the website
- you want to give the detail about your visa, passport.
- Upload the latest picture (Photo)
- upload the pdf of passport copy.
- upload the copy of resident permit
- print out the application form
- submit the self attested copy of your application to Panachayat Registration officer.
- You can submit the application copy by direct or postal.
- Those name are in Voter list , they can poll their vote by submitting the original passport.
Who can apply.
- Those who complete 18 years old in January or before can submit the application.
- The applicant should be a foreigner.
- Those who accept foreign citizenship, they cannot submit the application.
Government will issue a voter list with photo very soon.
